HOLE IN ONE! Darby Darrow got his first “Hole in 1” today on #16, a par 3 that tees off hitting over a pond. At first, Darby thought his ball might have rolled off the green, but after closer inspection he found his ball resting in the bottom of the cup. Congratulation Darby!

The Mackinaw Club had a "Hole in One" on June 29, 2013. The ace shot was made by Perry Terrian from Mackinaw City, who beat the 25,000 to 1 odds of getting a "Hole in One" on the 4th hole.

Golfing partners and witnesses to this extremely rare golf shot were Darby Darrow and Pat Wyman. "We have been playing the Mackinaw Club Golf Course since 1996 when it first opened and this is the first time anyone in our group of guys has ever gotten a hole in one, it was exciting!" said Darrow.

"I was the last to tee off and although my hit was straight, we all thought I overshot the entire green. We could not find the ball anywhere until we looked in the cup. Wow, that was great!" said Terrian.
